BlackBerry Curve 9320 and Curve 9300

RIM has just announced the BlackBerry 9320 which will pitch in May. By the company, referred to 9320 as the successor of the Curve 3G 9300.

Although regarded as a successor to 3G Gemini, but true 9320 series does not have the specifications are not too far from the 'elder brother' is.

Bodi
There is no significant difference between 9320 to 9300, even if the 9320 is held slightly lighter than the previous series. Series mentioned have names Armstrong was carrying dimensions of 109 x 60 x 12.7 mm with a weight of 103 grams, while the 3G Gemini 109 x 60 x 13.9 mm which weighs around 104 grams.

The one difference is in the Curve 9320 there is a special button to directly connect to the BlackBerry Messenger application. Similar indeed that belongs to 9220 or Davis.

Memory
About memory looks quite striking differences between the two series, the 9320 has 512 MB of RAM paired or double the 9300 that 'only' has 256 MB RAM.

Camera
Subdued picture in 9320 now will be better than 9300, because this series is embedded with a resolution of 3.15 megapixels, including LED flash and Geo-tagging. In 9300 stuck in a 2 MP camera.

The operating system
Well, when you first come, first only brings 3G Gemini OS 5, which could later be upgraded to OS 6. While direct 9320 using the latest operating system OS 7.1.

The difference again, fall into the first BlackBerry with embedded radio with RDS system. Radio features are not paired in the previous series, almost all of them.

Battery life
The standard battery used in 9320 better with Lio-Ion 1450 mAh, with durability standbybisa up to 432 hours.

Compared to 9300, the battery used is Li-Ion 1150 mAh, which when in standby position can be up to 348 hours (3G).

Walaupun dianggap sebagai suksesor Gemini 3G, namun sejatinya seri 9320 tidak mempunyai spesifikasi yang tidak terlalu jauh dari 'saudara tuanya' tersebut.

Tidak ada perbedaan yang mencolok antara 9320 dengan 9300, walaupun bila digenggam 9320 sedikit lebih ringan dari seri sebelumnya. Meringkus gambar di 9320 kini akan lebih baik ketimbang 9300, karena seri ini sudah dibenamkan dengan resolusi 3,15 megapixel, termasuk flash LED serta Geo-tagging. Di 9300 kameranya mentok di 2 MP.

Sistem operasi
Nah, saat pertama kali hadir, Gemini 3G awalnya hanya mengusung OS 5 yang kemudian hari bisa di-upgrade ke OS 6. Sedangkan 9320 langsung menggunakan sistem operasi yang terbaru OS 7.1.

Bedanya lagi, termasuk ke dalam BlackBerry yang pertama dibenamkan dengan radio dengan sistem RDS. Fitur radio tidak dipasangkan di seri sebelumnya, bahkan hampir semuanya.

Daya tahan baterai
Standar baterai yang digunakan di 9320 lebih baik dengan Lio-Ion 1450 mAH, dengan daya tahan standbybisa up to 432 jam.
