BlackBerry Messenger for Android
BlacBerry CEO Thorsten Heins announced, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) soon available on Android and iOS devices. Messaging app will be launched globally this summer.
"This form of self-confidence," Heins said BlackBerry Live event in Orlando, USA, Tuesday, May 14, 2013. "BB10 platform is very strong and a good response to it so it's time for the fuel to be platform independent messaging cars."
This app will be available for free on Android and iOS. Like other messaging app, BBM will become a stand-alone application. According to TechCrunch, BBM 6 will be available on iOS or Android that uses OS Ice Cream Sandwich.
Initially, only the group messaging features and will be available. But Heins promised, the rest soon follow as screen sharing feature, BBM Voice and the newly launched feature, BBM Channels.
"We are developing a platform that is more powerful fuel than ever before," said Heins.
Although impressed too late, in the middle of the growing breadth of Whatsapp, LINE, KakaoTalk and WeChat, BlackBerry's move is a big leap. According to TechCrunch, "BlackBerry's awake". headline -
